![]() Paverpol is non-toxic
|
The textiles and decoration hardener par excellence! Dip natural materials, such as textiles, in Paverpol. Drape or wrap the material around a wire figure or other armature and leave it to dry. Paverpol dries fast, but slowly enough to allow plenty of working time. After it has hardened, you have created a beautiful decoration or sculpture, which can be used indoors as well as outdoors. It is also possible to combine Paverpol with paper, silk, chamois leather, self-hardening clay, polystyrene foam, dried flowers, wood, plaster, pottery, etc.
One litre- is generally enough product for 3 or 4 small figurines, 11 x 14” memory boards or wall sculptures, up to 2- 14” figurines, or one large (up to 24”) garden statue.

Pavercolor 40 ml (about 2 ounces)
This is a pigment powder that can be mixed with Paverpol to change the transparent Paverpol into the color of your choice. The powders can be combined to make custom colors.
Mix the powder with a small amount of water before you add it to Paverpol. This prevents it from becoming lumpy.
The Pavercolor metallic colors will loose their lustre when mixed with Paverpol; however, the lustre can be retained by brushing the dried piece of work with the Pavercolor metallic color mixed with Josefine gloss varnish.
All Pavercolors can be mixed with water to obtain water paint. However, this technique can only be used for indoor pieces of work.
For outdoor objects (i.e. garden sculptures) you can mix Pavercolors with Josefine gloss varnish. It is then a proper outdoor paint that can be used for painting, brushing and adding patina effects.
These are postpaid $9.25 each (in the U.S.)

Pavercotton 50 gram package
A 100 % cotton fiber. When dipped in the Paverpol and squeezed out well, it can be used to make hair/wigs for the Paverpol figurines. It can also be used to make creative dishes.
Project idea: Cover a dish with cling film and put the Pavercotton tuffs dipped in Paverpol on one side of the cling film. The dish is only to be used as a mould, and will not be damaged.
After it has dried and hardened (for at least one week) you can take the dish off. The side that was covered by plastic will still need to dry. You have to be patient for this, but if you do, you will end up with a unique cotton dish which can be used as a creative decorative bowl.
$9.25 postpaid in the U.S. or Canada

From T-shirt to Garden Statue book by Jossy de Roode
Suddenly there is a product that makes you lose your senses! That is what happened to me when I discovered Paverpol. I had made earlier pieces using other hardeners, but not one of them became as hard or dried as transparently as Paverpol did. I began some major experimenting and became increasingly enthusiastic. Especially because I also discovered that Paverpol withstands exterior conditions and even extreme frost. The foundation of my idea to use this to make a garden statue was laid and I set to work. Paverpol can be combined with natural material excellently.
It is an environmentally friendly water based product so one can work with it using bare hands. Even children! I cut strips and rags from an old cotton t-shirt and I made a frame using a few pieces of electrical wire. I soaked the strips and rags in the Paverpol and wrapped them around the frame, and this gave rise to a statue.
In order to place it outside, this had to be weighted or it would blow right out of the garden with every gust of wind. Using Paverpol, I stuck the statue to a concrete pillar and to my surprise, a few days later I could lift the statue by its head with the concrete pillar stuck to it very firmly! Therefore, you need not make any complicated constructions to make a sitting statue. As Paverpol dries quickly, you can make a statue in one day. Painted and all!
The complete hardening will still take a few days, but that happens by itself.
By now I have convinced hundreds of students and I hope you will join their number. Have fun making different pieces and working with Paverpol.
