HINTS FOR WORKING WITH FABRIC MARKERS:
1. Test all fabric markers before using on quilting or needlework.
2. when using pink or purple disappearing ink pens DO NOT pile-up the fabrics or put them in poly bags until the ink has completely disappeared. The ink requires air circulation to spontaneously disappear which will be retarded by piling or bagging.
3. For water erasable pens (blue), USE PLAIN WATER ONLY. Make sure all lines are out before washing in any type of soap. Soap may set marks permanently.
4. DO NOT IRON over any pink or purple marking lines before they totally disappear, or are washed away with plain water as ironing may set lines permanently.
5. For erasing blue lines, do not use any chemical liquid sold on the market - USE PLAIN WATER ONLY!
6. When using White Ink Pens, lines can be made to disappear with plain water, ironing, or they will spontaneously disappear over time. Ink is air erasable.

Quilters Pencils: These may be used to draw precise lines before stitching. these pencils work on most fabrics, and may be washed off with gentle soap and water.
Chalk Pencils: Draw or trace your favorite design onto paper with chalk pencil. Press firmly so the chalk marks are clear and bold. Turn the traced design pencil side down onto the fabric. Transfer design by rubbing paper with fingers or a blunt tool. Can also be used to draw directly onto fabrics or surface of choice. Next, stitch, bead, paint or fabric paint over the pencil marks. may be erased, brushed or washed off.
Always test the pencil on a hidden corner of fabric before application!
